Sunday Morning

I had to wake up at 6:30 this morning to send my bro to school for Taekwondo training. Training is from 7am ~ 8am (curse the coach for choosing such hour for training... For heaven sake, it's a SUNDAY!!!)

After training, me and bro went to C121 coffee shop (near Stutong market) for breakfast. We both ordered teh-c-peng (iced milk tea) and laksa. I ordered 2 eggs for extra ummpphh~~~. When the eggs came, I was shocked cuz the waiter brought a mini tower with the 2 eggs inside. Bah, check out the photo collage below for details.

Shame-less James

This video was recorded from a live interview between Sarawak's Land Development Minister, Datuk James Masing and an al-Jazeera reporter. This interview touched on the very sensitive yet interesting topic of how Sarawak's development mega projects are linked directly and indirectly to the man who has held the helm of Sarawak's politics for almost 30 years, non other than our "beloved" Pehin Sri Datuk Patinggi Abdul Taib Mahmud. He was actually invited to be interviewed but I think he chickened out cuz there's no way that he could runaway from questions which touched on his and his family's involvement in obtaining Sarawak mega projects through Sarawak Energy and Titanium.

What about the indegenious people that lived there, who lost their livelihood, lost their homes?
Well, not quite lose their homes. They are resettled into new areas which have trends towards modern development. That's what we are trying to do.

BS!

How much isthe construction of these new dams linked to boosting the family business for the Chief Minister's family?
I..I don't think there is. (wtf)

Is CMS in any other way linked to this project?
Not that I am aware of..... (fck... liar liar, pants of fire!)

Are you trying to say that there's no capital cronyism in Sarawak?
I don't think so... If there is, those who dealt with it will be dealt by the law. (omg, he can tell a lie straight into the TV camera! Respect! Salute!)

Sigh, I feel sorry for those people who have to live the lies of this so-called good leaders of the state. May God himself bring true justice to these IDIOTS!

60 Earth Hour

Heard of "60 Earth Hour"? This is actually a GLOBAL awareness program where we (earthlings) will turn off all our electricity sources for one hour from 8:30pm till 9:30pm local time on Saturday, 28th March 2009. Actually this is an election exercise to choose between Mother Earth or Global Warming. If you choose Earth, then turn off your lights for an hour. If you do happen to choose global warming... hmmm, then I'll whack your heads and ask you to move to Mars. So please remember...

28 March 2009
8:30pm ~ 9:30pm

TURN IT OFF!!!

Secret Garden Cafe

Pardon the sakai-nees in me when it comes to good food around Kuching City. But thanks to my bradaa and sistaa, I was introduced to a few nice eating outlets in Kuching which have been around since erm... forever.

Went to this food cafe with my bradaa and sistaa about a month ago... Secret Garden Cafe (not a secret after this I guess). It's located along Jalan Padungan (near the big white cat statue).

I ordered butter chicken rice (highly recommended by bradaa) and it was mmmmmm..... very GOOD!

Damage done : (don't quite remember but I think it's around RM6~RM8...which isn't too expensive)

Will definitely go back to try the other food on the menu...

Crocosaurus Cove

Note: This article is plagiarized from a forwarded mail.

Fancy this?

Without the cage you wouldn't stand a chance swimming with a massive saltwater crocodile.

But for brave punters who still want to get cosy with a feisty croc, a new Australian tourist attraction is offering the chance for a close encounter in the safety of a clear acrylic box dubbed the 'cage of death'. Just 4cm of acrylic, a pair of goggles and a swimsuit, will separate thrill-seekers from the jaws of Choppa, a saltwater crocodile.

The cage has no bars, unlike cages used in shark dives, which prevents the reptiles from gripping on but deep teeth scratches are visible on the sides, deterring some hesitant participants.

Tourists climb into the clear box before being lowered into Choppa's lair.

They then spend 15 minutes inside the 9ft high cage and watch Choppa trying to take a bite out of them.

A tourist dives into a cage partially immersed in a crocodile pen at Crocosaurus Cove in Darwin .

Wanna try can?

Lost

Sometimes in life, you'll just come to a crossroad where you'll wonder which road you should take..

Walk straight...?

Turn left...?

Turn right...?

The fact of the matter is, there's no right or wrong? But bear this in mind, one small decision we make now might just have a intergalactic impact on our lives. Bah... curse the current economy situation. Well, it just sealed my fate for this year.

Shot this at a local Japanese restaurant... heart the ambience but had to say goodbye to a friend :(

THE PENIS WANTS A RAISE

Here's a funny joke I got from a friend... Hope it'll make your day.

I, the Penis, hereby request a raise in salary for the following reasons:

01. I do physical labor

02. I work at great depths

03. I plunge head first into everything I do

04. I do not get weekends off or public holidays

05. I work in a damp environment

06. I don't get paid overtime

07. I work in a dark workplace that has poor Ventilation

08. I work in high temperatures

09. My work exposes me to contagious diseases

******** REPLY ********

Dear Penis,

After assessing your request, and considering the arguments you have raised, the administration rejects your request for the following reasons:

01. You do not work 8 hours straight

02. You fall asleep on the job after brief work periods

03. You do not always follow the order s of the management team

04. You do not stay in your allocated position, and often visit other restricted areas

05. You do not take initiative - you need to be pressured and stimulated in order to start working

06. You leave the workplace rather messy at the end of your shift

07. You don't always observe necessary safety regulations, such as wearing the correct protective clothing

08. You'll retire well before reaching 65

09. You're unable to work double shifts

10. You sometimes leave your allocated position before you have completed the day's work.

And, if that were not all, you have been seen constantly entering and leaving the workplace carrying 2 suspicious looking bags.

Sincerely,

The Management
