wtf

I came across this article a few days ago and i am totally tulan about Datuk Ahmad Husni Mohamad Hanadzlah. Wondering who this "toot" is? Doesn't really matter who he is but what he said is the topic here.

source

The Malaysian government has really gotta wake up one of these days la. Can you be so naive to think that by giving the exclusive ownerships of APs to bumiputeras will "help" to develop Bumiputera entrepreneurs capable of competing and achieving progress in the automotive industry?????

This is 100% pure bullshit.

When is the government gonna stop spoon feeding these lazy bums? Why can't the government let them walk on their own and along their way learn from their mistakes. If non-bumiputeras can survive, I don't see the reason why bumiputeras cannot survive in the real world.

Wake up Datuk! Do you think we are still blind and stupid? Everyday you come and promote "fair-trade" but when come to APs, sorry-lah bang, hanya untuk Melayu saja (translated: sorry bro, only for Malays).

Gundam feva

Recently, a few of my colleagues have been talking a lot on Gundam models. Before I knew it, I was suckered into this boyhood dream of robots. I have just placed my order for a MG 1/100 Strike Gundam +IWSP through the internet and expected time of delivery is within 2-3 days.

ooo... I just can't wait to get my hands on it.

sure you don't wanna go?

About a month ago, when I was having my holiday at KL, my boss called me up and asked me this question, "Eh, our company plan to send you to Japan for training, do you wanna go?".

"what's the catch?" (because after 2.5 years working in this company, I know that windfall does not just fall like that on your doorstep)

And true enough, he said, "No catch la, just go there for 2-week training then the company gonna bond you for 3 years..."

"What the fuck man! Go for 2 weeks, bond for 3 FUCKING YEARS!!!!???? No way I wanna go."

At first my boss tried to persuade me to go for this training by saying that it's good for my future (do I even have future here, I wonder), this course will increase my personal development value, chance of a lifetime ... and blah blah blah... But after seeing no chance of me giving in, he asked another colleague of mine to go.

Phew, I thought it was over.

And last Thursday morning, my boss' supervisor (in other words bigger boss) asked me again after morning meeting if I would change my mind to go for this Japan training. As cold as ice, I said "No" because to me it just would not make sense to go for 2 weeks and get your ass bonded for 3 years. Gosh...

I have no regrets though cuz I know that my future lies elsewhere...

"Health, Happiness, and Success... yeah right"

Die Hard 4.0

Now here's one of the must-watch-movies on my list. I am not sure about you but I have always been a big fan of John McClane (Bruce Willis) in Die Hard series. I am sure the "old-time" mega movie star still has something up his sleeve to show us. Just can't wait for its premier to hit cinemas on 27 June 2007 (in US, still not sure about the local release dates). For the time being, check out the cool trailer for "Die Hard 4.0 - Live Free or Die Hard"

Ford Shelby Mustang DT500KR

I just had to put up this post because this beast machine is just too exquisite to ignore. Kudos to Ford and Carroll Shelby for reviving yet another great performance moniker - the GT500 KR (King of the Road) - for 2008. Modifications to the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 allow the engine to produce 540 hp and 510 lb-ft, coupled through a Tremec 6-speed transmission. A retuned suspension package, consisting of unique springs, dampers and a strut tower brace, help the new KR handle better than its ancestor. Shelby tops it off with a carbon-fiber hood that emulates KRs of days past. The GT500 KR goes on sale in spring of 2008, but act fast - only 1000 will be built. Now how I wish I have the extra cash to get one for myself...

iPhone

Recently, Apple inc. launched its latest gadget - iPhone. It's not merely an ordinary handphone with mp3 player and camera feature. It's THE phone which is define in this equation:

Handphone + iPod + Web browser =

When Apple launched iPod, it revolutionize the mp3 world. This time with iPhone, it will surely revolutionize the communication world.

"Phone combines three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching — into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone. "
(quoted by Apple)

So how cool exactly is the iPhone? Check out the video snippet below to find out for yourself.

Verdict: I just gotta have one!

Chel-gay-sea

Just say it out loud Mou-gay-rinho. "Chelsea is right in the middle of a crisis". 4 consecutive draws in 4 EPL matches is not a crisis? Just in case you have forgotten, getting draws will not win you the EPL title. Only winning does!!! And that is exactly what Man United is doing. Opening up a 6-point lead over the title holders, Chelsea during the hectic 4-games-in-10-days period. Even the papers say so... "THE THREE NOT-SO-WISE MEN". I just couldn't help but laughing at how arrogant and gay Mourinho can be.

New year, new company policy

Ever since my company was taken over by X-Fab, it has undergone several changes. Recently (to be exact, it was on 24th Dec 2006), my company's top management announced that there will no more "free-overtime". In other words, company will not pay for those OT hours by the employees which are not planned and justified.

Previously:
"If you feel like you need extra cash, you come for OT la.
If you feel like you have nothing to do at home, you come for OT la.
If you feel like you want to clear your car loan faster, you come for OT la.
If you feel like "pien jiak", you come for OT la."

Now:
"If you feel like you need extra cash, cannot come for OT liao, have to find another part-time job.
If you feel like you have nothing to do at home, cannot come for OT liao, just sleep or get a pet like me. *grin grin*
If you feel like you want to clear your car loan faster, cannot come for OT liao, just eat Maggi mee every meal and save more money every month.
If you feel like "pien jiak", cannot come for OT liao, better stay at home and "jiak ga ki" (translated: eat yourself")
