Gundam Odaiba

When I came across this post at DannyChoo's blog, my jaw was literally on the floor.

WOW! 1/1 scale of a Gundam robot!

Somemore the Japanese built this life-sized, 59-foot tall RX-78-2 Gundam model from the first anime series (1979) guarding the artificial island of Odaiba (お台場) Shiokaze Park over at Tokyo bay. It was constructed to mark the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam robot anime franchise and will remain on display for 2-months starting July 2009.

Louis, let's build another Gundam ( transformer) robot of this size too ( if not bigger), and let it guards your house. What about that?
