Evening Skies

Why is sunset so beautiful yet it tingles our emotions, especially the sad ones?


It's funny how the color of the sky can actually affect a person's mood. I remember before I went to the university, my dad would constantly remind me not to be alone in the hostel during the evenings. He said it's best to have a company if not a few just to get pass the evening hours. Of course, I didn't think too much about it at that time because staying close with my family all my life, I would say to myself "C'mon, how bad can 'evenings' be?"

But when the time came when I was really alone in my hostel, looking out the window as the sun sets in the west, the emotions came pouring out.
